Emerson Reid Acquires BenefitPort MidAtlantic
EmersonReid has acquired BenefitPort MidAtlantic (“BPMA”), a New Jersey based general agent. This acquisition is expected to contribute approximately $6 million in revenue to Emerson Reid on an annual basis.
BPMA distributes group products to small & large businesses through independent agents and brokers. The addition of BPMA further strengthens Emerson Reid’s presence in the New Jersey market and serves as a strategic link between the New York and Pennsylvania operations. Emerson Reid continues to expand its market share in the wholesale benefit market with the focus of being the premier general agency.

Emerson Reid plans to maintain BPMA’s current operations from their Englewood, NJ location while incorporating several technology driven resources and leveraging economies of scale to provide the highest level of service to independent agents and brokers.
